Richard Calvin Ruth was born 11/13/1958 to the late Garrett and Angeline Weigert Ruth of Grasonville.  Died 8/30/2019 at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton MD.  Dickie as he was lovingly known to his friends and family graduated from Queen Anne County High School with the class of 1976.  Dickie worked various jobs throughout his life like Black and Decker and Conagra, he also had his own painting business in the 90's.  His last job was working for John Caputo until his illness forced him to retire.  Dickie is survived by his children  Jessica McCracken and her son Derek of Harrington DE, Richard E Ruth and his daughter Madalyn of Virginia Beach VA, and Roland G Ruth and his son Riley of Virginia Beach VA.  His other children Joe Dobson of Laurel DE, Trevor Perry of Cambridge MD and Courtney Rose of Cambridge MD.  His sisters Jarrett Smith of Queenstown MD, Cathy Mahaffey of Anadarko OK, and Margie Hill of Greensboro MD.  Also survived by his girlfriend Kimberly Harris and a host of nieces and nephews.  Proceeding him in death besides his parents are three sisters Jennette Horney, Dora Tongue, and Dottie Carroll.  As per Dickie's wishes there will be no funeral service held but a celebration of life will be held at a time to be determined later.  He will forever be loved and missed by his family and loved ones.

I am so sorry to hear of Dicky’s passing, I am thankful that Mike and I were able to pray with him the night before and that he is at peace and in no more pain now and is with his Lord and Savior. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends from myself and everyone at the Island Alliance Church.

Wow babe 😘❤️😘 Richard Ruth I can't believe it has been a week all ready that you have left this Earth to go home to our Father in heaven.. I miss you so very much sweetie Well we almost made it to 12 years. You wer and still are my heart and soul and you so loved me as well you always made me laugh when I was said and needed uplifting . You are a one-of-a-kind man there will never be another like you when you loved you loved hard and you loved helping people we helped each other out I love you Dickie always and forever you and me. You were my knight in shining armor lost the love of my life and a almost 12-year partner. I love you immensely I miss you so much thank goodness that we met cool friends through R.I.Paradise BABY 😘❤️ I do believe that paths cross for a reason.. Everything happens for a reason .Fie Five Fo Fie Five Fo Fie .. that's buckwheat's telephone Number . When he wrote that down and told me to read it sunken for a minute and then I started busting out laughing and you can literally see the light bulb go off in my head. Love you babe always and forever to infinity and beyond.. keep an eye on things down here for me make sure I'm going in the right direction like you always have before
