William “Tyrone” Murray, also known as Ty, was born on December 18, 1954, to the late Juanita Murray and Ira Hubbard. Ty was raised by his loving mother and the late Nathaniel Murray. He departed this life on March 14, 2026, at Mallard Bay Nursing Home in Cambridge, Maryland, surrounded by family.

Tyrone was a member of Mt. Calvary U.M. Church until his health began to fail. He attended schools in Dorchester County, graduating from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1972. After graduation Tyrone worked at Continental Can/Crown Cork and Seal until they closed in 1992. Later Ty moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and worked at TRW then Hershey Plant for over 20 years. He went from plane parts to chocolate. After becoming sick Ty moved back to Hurlock with his mom. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan who enjoyed watching all sports and loved to play pool.

Tyrone leaves to mourn his passing: four children Tyrone Sampson (Tamisha) of Clarksburg, MD, Vashawna Mallon (Patrick) of Denton, TX, Renee Murray of Mount Vernon, NY, and Anthony Murray of Palmarya, PA; six grandchildren, Austin and Ava Sampson, Rainbow and Liberty Mallon, Lilliani McFadden-Murray, and Melodee Debride; siblings, sisters, Yvonne Cromwell of Cambridge, MD, Sylvia Bolden (Cortez) of Hurlock, MD, Landese Hubbard, and Rosalind Wise (Sean) of Preston, MD, and Nathaniel Murray (Shiana) of Seaford, DE; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
