Virginia Mae (Engh) Elms

Virginia “Ginny” Elms, born on August 18, 1960, in Escondido, CA, passed away at age 62 on April 8, 2023, at home. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Maryland shortly after high school. Her career started at Acme Markets in Easton, MD where she worked her way up to Deli Manager. After leaving Acme, she worked at Harris Teeter in Easton, MD to which she again worked her way up to Fresh Foods Manager.

Ginny was smart, resilient, fiery, and beloved by so many. She had a passion for cooking which she passed down to her daughter and cherished every moment with her grandchildren. She had a tight-knit group of friends and loved to travel around the country with her husband and their friends.

Ginny is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dwayne “Casper” Elms; son Christopher Manno (Meghan); son John Manno; daughter Heather Woodfin (Christopher); mother Virena Bird; brother Charles Engh (Kim); brother Michael Engh; sister Barbara Engh; Her grandchildren Carson, Hunter, Alexis, Lauren, Julihannah, and William.

She was preceded in death by her father.

There will be a private funeral service for family only. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, which will be made public when finalized.
