Tyrone Wayne Pinkett, 71, affectionately known as “Bozo” or “Big Bo” was called from labor to reward on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton in Easton, Maryland after a long illness.
He was born on April 4, 1953, to the late Hubert R. Young, Jr. (Joe) and the late Alfreda F. King. He received his education in the Dorchester County public school system in the class of 1971.
Tyrone relocated to the Delaware/Pennsylvania area over 20 years ago where he worked various jobs. His most favorite things to do were shopping, watching westerns (or dust cutters as he would call them), spending time with his family and friends, and playing cards/dominos. He loved to have fun, tell jokes, and was very well known for his hearty laugh. He would often play Motown tunes and sing at the top of his lungs in the deepest voice he could make and grin (like a Cheshire cat, as he would say). He will always be known for his metaphors that have been embedded in our heads for many years, his insightful conversations, and his loud chants when the Pittsburgh Steelers were playing. His battle with serious medical issues showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Tyrone came out a hero and stayed strong until the end
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert R. Young, Jr. “Joe”; his mother, Alfreda (Pinkett) King; stepfather, Linton King Sr.; stepbrothers, Charles King, Linton King, Jr, and Robert King; stepsister Gladys Holly; maternal grandmother Lillie Mae Pinkett; maternal grandfather Sherman Pinkett; paternal grandmother Ruby Stanley Young; paternal grandfather Hubert R.
