Tyrone Montclair Cooper (aka Charlie) went to be with the LORD on Sunday, March 23, 2025. He was born December 7, 1963, in Easton, Maryland to the late Artina Forman and Albert Monroe, Jr. He was raised in Newtown, MD and was a life member of the New Zion Methodist Church. He was a Trustee and a member of the United Methodist Men. Like his grandmother Libby and Uncle Bo, he loved his church and church family.
As a young boy he was blessed with his cousin Jimmy and best friend Teddy who were a trio, the epitome of life-long friends. They have always kept up with each other and checked in, a true brotherhood. When Teddy and Jimmy moved away, he and Stevie became best buds and Charlie was very protective over Stevie. Spending time with Arrice in Chapel, he developed a friendship with Kim Gibson, and Kim’s became a great friend to our family.
Tyrone attended Talbot County Schools and graduated from Easton Senior High School in Easton Maryland in the Class of 1982. After high school he worked various jobs; Peebles Department Store, 84 Lumber, Allen Foods and at the time of his passing he was employed at Amick Farms as a custodian.
Tyrone was married and from this union had one son Tyrone, Jr. who is an avid Ravens fan whereas his dad loved the Redskins and truly enjoyed this past season.
Tyrone was a kind, honest and a respectful man who was always willing to help anyone in need and you could depend on him. He was a caregiver to his dad, Mother and Uncle as they experienced health challenges in their later years.
In 2020, he started dating his girlfriend Angel and they were inseparable. We loved seeing him happy. Any family function and/or occasion just let him know what you needed done or what do you needed him to bring. He loved family time.
Tyrone was loyal and an amazing son, brother, friend and a hard worker, however, he was looking forward to enjoying life more. When he laughed it was contagious and he will truly be missed, but his work down here is done . . . truly, GOD can say to him, “well done, my good and faithful servant”.
Tyrone’s parents proceeded him in death as well as his beloved Uncle Oscar (aka Bo) brother: Fentress, sister: Sorita and nephew Lance.
He is survived by his son Tyrone Jr, brother: Russell (Mary), DE, sister: Nanita (Ricky) TX, sister: Robbyn, MD, sister: Mildred (Spencer) OK, sister: Volitta, (Lonnie) MD, brother: Arrice, MD, sister: Vivian, MD, Aunt Rosalee, Aunt Rudy, and Uncle Maurice (Jean), MD, cousin Carroll (Joyce), MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 05, 2025. Wake at 11:00 am and service at 12:30 pm. Emmanuel Deliverance-Center, 29512 Canvasback Drive, Easton MD. His interment will be at Chapel Cemetery, Easton, MD.
Rest in heavenly peace, you will be loved and missed forever, until we meet again . . .
