Syliva Ven Price was born in Queen Annes, Maryland known as Back the Bottom on October 24, 1948 to the late and great Walter Price and Helen Louise Pinkney Price.
She received her education in the Talbot County public school system. She was married to Dennis Webb and from that union they had three children, Dennis Webb Jr., Murcydean Webb and Jearmaine Webb. In her early years, she attended Allen AME Church in Thomastown, MD.
Syliva loved cooking, cleaning, dancing and loved life to the fullest. She was always carrying a smile on her face. She worked a couple of jobs, Fox Cannery and the Pickle Factory, then she became a homemaker for her family. She loved big when it came to her nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved her family very much and when she would see them on their special occasion she would give them small change.
Syliva leaves to mourn her three children; Dennis (Nydiah Wilson) Webb Jr., Murcydean Webb, Jearmaine Webb, grandchildren: Denzell (Chelsey ) Bledsoe, Denya Lynette Renee Webb, Renee Webb, Alliyah Olivia Webb, Jaquan Ameer Thomas, Denisha Webb, LaKenjra Turner, Kiara Cooper, Garry Leon Gorham Jr., Garryona (known as Tyona Copper) Williams, Endia Sharpe, Asi Taylor, Kia’Lah Webb, great grandchildren: Rayla Grace Bledsoe, Remi Simone Bledsoe, Anthony Baker Jr., King Baker, Paityn Baker, Ameer Zy’elle Thomas, Isaiah Taiwan Thomas, Jabrion Thomas, Mi’Lani Blackwell.
Leaving sisters: Vercie (Charles) Wilson, Cherry Price, and Shirley (Stuffy) Thomas brothers: Herbert Price and Vernon Price Sr. one aunt, Mary Frances Smith along with a host of nieces, nephews and a host of family.
Sylvia leaves her special life partner, Martian Schnoor who has stood by her side every step of the way until the end of her journey. She leaves her special sister Shirley (Stuffy) and her niece Henrietta (Penny) Nichols whom she loved and cherished.
She always looked forward to her weekly visit at the nursing home from her departed sister Victoria (June).
She is now reunited with parents Helen & Walter Price, two brothers, James Price and Rayfield Pinkney, four sisters; Savanah (Pumpkin) Britt, Shirley (Peaches) Thomas, Shelba (Babysister) Nichols and Victoria (June) Jones. one great niece Ti Shee Bratcher, her precious grandson, Maurice Turner Jr. and her beloved favorite uncle GD Price from California.
