Stephen Cotton

Steven Terry Cotton, affectionally known as Swazey was born on December 27, 1963 to the late Charles L Cotton, Sr and Lillian Handy Cotton, in Salisbury, MD.  He departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2020.   He was raised in Somerset County, Princess Anne, MD.  He was the youngest of 7 siblings.  He attended Somerset County Public schools and graduated from Washington High School in Princess Anne, MD. 

He is survived by his wife Calvileen (Neicy) of Federalsburg, MD, two brothers, Charles L Cotton, Jr of Salisbury, MD, Darnell F Cotton, Sr (Tywanda)  of Salisbury, MD, also 2 sisters, Dr Marian (Marci) Tilghman Bryant of Coatesville, PA, and Wanda E Cotton, of Princess Anne, MD.  He is also survived by 3 sons, Aubrey, DeOntay, and Stephon, several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts and one uncle, and a host of friends and relatives.    He loved to play pinocle, and enjoyed hanging out with his friends.  In his younger days, he loved sports, particularly, baseball and football.  

He was preceeded in death, by his parents, brother Kevin and his sister Linda.  Swazey will genuinely be missed by all who loved and cared about him.

A celebration of Life will be held on Sat. Feb 8, 2020 at the Marley Manor Clubhouse-1000 Marley Manor Drive, Salisbury, Md. 21804 - Time: 2pm-4pm.
