Stella R Blake, affectionately known as “Poogie” was called to her heavenly home on January 30, 2025 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Easton, MD. She was 91 years old.

Poogie was born in Cordova, MD on April 4, 1933 to the late C. Spencer Pierce and Mary Parker Pierce.

She also loved country music, and shopping on QVC. Some would say she was their #1 customer. Poogie loved her family, often calling to have long conversations and lots of laughs. Her door was always open and everyone was welcome.
