Sherman Lee Chase Jr. of Federalsburg, MD was born on May 12, 1959 and the Lord called him home on October 28, 2023. He was the son of the late Sherman Lee Chase, Sr. and George Ann Williams. He was affectionately known as “Little Sherman”, “Bunky” and “Snoop” to family and friends.
Sherman received his education in the Caroline County School district. He later went to Job Corps where he earned his certificate in carpentry. Sherman worked within various industries such as construction, poultry, farming and ofcourse carpentry. You could count on him if you needed your home painted or carpet installed.
Fishing was Sherman’s favorite past time. He could tell you what fish were running any time of the year. His fishing rod was always on standby. He also enjoyed a good game of Spades with family and friends, always having a trick shot up his sleeve.
In addition to his parents, Sherman was preceded in death by his son, Jermain Lamont Bolden and two sisters, Karen Lee Jones and Virginia Ann Wise.
Sherman leaves behind to cherish his memories, his daughter, LaTonya Marshall, son-in-law, Clifton Marshall III, two grandchildren, Faith Marshall (Warren) and Clifton Marshall IV, one brother, Michael Chase (Cheryl), two sisters, Sharon Banks and Lisa Bolden, sister-in-law, Tysha Chase, a special sister, Roberta Smith, the mother of his children, Jaqueline Bolden, aunts: Eva Mae Lake, Jean Hubbard (James), Janet Dotson (Roscoe), June Bailey, uncles, Joseph Claggett (Patricia), James Greene (Shirley), William Greene (Janie), special friend, Cynthia Kock and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers from another mother and friends.
