Sharon Marie Turner, 65, of Trappe, MD, departed this life on August 19, 2024, at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, Maryland. Sharon was born May 3, 1959, to the late Glorious Irene Cooper and the late Carroll Wilson Sr. She was educated in the Talbot County School System and graduated in the Class of 1977.
After graduation, she worked at McDonald's in Easton, MD, where she met the love of her life, Jonathan. After leaving McDonald's, she worked for a Pharmaceutical Company as an Office Assistant. After leaving the Pharmaceutical Company, Sharon worked for Wheaton Tubing for over 20 years until the company closed. Upon Sharon's death, she worked for Paris Foods in Trappe, MD, for 26 years in the Finance Department.
Sharon was the sweetest, most loving person. Her smile would captivate the room. Her unconditional love for her grandchildren was unmeasured. She had so many plans for her youngest grandchildren, Tristan and Yohanna. Sharon was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her husband Jonathan and her brother Carroll. Sharon was a wonderful sister to her siblings, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them.
Sharon loved online shopping. She enjoyed purchasing Coach and Michael Kors bags. Sharon especially loved her annual birthday/anniversary trips with her husband to Ocean City, MD, and trips to Bally's Casino in Dover, DE. Sharon stayed stylish with her quick weaves done by her favorite hairstylist and friend, Rose. Sharon also loved to sing and dance. Some of her favorite songs were "I Can't Stop Loving You" by Kem and "Fire and Desire" by Teena Marie. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Mary Cromwell. They shared many memories of unconditional love and countless times of laughter.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. Sharon leaves to mourn her devoted and loyal husband, Jonathan Turner, of 45 years. Three sons, Jonathan Turner Jr (Yalaniya) of Raeford, NC. Aaron Turner of Trappe, MD. Kasheem Moaney of Trappe, MD. Two grandsons, Tristan Turner of Chestertown, MD. Taybreon Turner of Cambridge, MD. Two granddaughters, Jaszmyne Stanley of Cambridge, MD. Yohanna Turner of Raeford, NC. She also leaves to mourn her brother Carroll Wilson Jr. (Joyce) of Goldsboro, MD. Sisters Faith Parker-Morris (Winfred) of New Castle, DE. Tampa Sparrow of Centreville, MD, and Lenise Williams of Williamston, NC. Carol Anderson (Brian) of Springdale, MD. DeYouna Wilmer (Marchand) of Easton, MD. Dr. Janika Wallace (Corey) of Middletown, DE, and brother Kyron Hutchins of Centreville, MD. Sharon also leaves to mourn brothers-in-law James Turner (Polly) of Sudlersville, MD. Kevin Turner (Javelyn) of Smiths Station, Alabama. and sisters-in-law Iris Corbin and Shawn Turner of Wye Mills, MD, special friend, Mary Cromwell, and a host of niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.
