Shantese Turner Obituary

Shantese La’Vae Turner was born on July 1, 1981 in Easton, MD. She was the daughter of Lorraine Turner and Clifton Armstrong and a loving step-father, Peanut Greene, who adored and loved her very much. She departed this life on July 31, 2021 at the University in Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD.

Shantese was educated in Talbot County public schools, and she graduated from Easton High School in 1999. She went on to further her education by attending Chesapeake College. She began her studies in Radiology and later turned her interest to Human Services. She was due to graduate in 2022.

Shantese was baptized at Bethel AME Church in Easton, MD. At the time of her death, she was employed by Bright Star. She was well known for her big smile and crazy laugh. She loved spending time with her son, Corron, her nephew, De’Shaun, niece DeJahmir, who she loved so dearly. She also enjoyed playing Panda Pop on her phone.

Shantese was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fowler and Rosie Bantum, grandmother, Florence Sherwood, three uncles, Jacob Turner, Jacob Sherwood, Lorenzo Turner and Donald Trice who was like a father to her.

Shantese leaves to cherish her son, Corron Mills, her mother, Lorraine Turner, father, Clifton Armstrong, step-father, Peanut Greene, sisters, Shauna, La’Kita, Te’Aira, Michelle, JeKaira, Monique, Mieassa, brothers, Donald, Mervin, Clifton, Cliffon, godmother, Myrna Russum, god-brothers, Capree, Damainia, Jarod, aunts, Cindy T. Tanya F, Pearl B, Mary B, Joan Trice, Sharon B, Joan Turner, Evelyn G, Florence S, Marian S, Vickie G, Gladys T, Diane T, Tracy T, Paulette F, Deeirdra B, Gloria Dill, Sharon W, uncles; Bruce T, Thomas F, Jerry H, Jacob H, Tennyson T, Earl S, Norman S, Stanley S. Melvin T, grandparents, Bertha Frieson, Jacob Sherwood (Mary), her close and dearest friends, Shawaun Simmons (sister), Candace Henry, Miya Jenkins, Shamira Camper, Andrian Blassingame, Dietrich Johnson, a very close and special friend, Kennard Smith Jr., the class of 1999 and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
