Russell Vernon Pinder, Jr. (53), was born on October 6, 1968 in Cambridge, Maryland. He transitioned from this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Shore Health University of Maryland Medical Center in Easton, Maryland after a lengthy illness. He was the fifth oldest child born to the late Russell Pinder, Sr. and Phyllis Pinder.
Russell started his early education in the public schools of Cambridge, Maryland and completed his studies at North Dorchester High School in Hurlock, Maryland. Russell worked many years for Fox Trucking in Easton, Maryland and had even went into business for himself as a long distance truck driver before returning back to work for Fox Trucking. Russell officially retired from long distance trucking in February 2019 and started working with Shore Shuttles Transportation until April 2022.
Russell enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his daughter Shavonda, despite the outcome of what they caught. It was more rewarding to the both of them to just spending time together. Whenever you saw Russell he always had a good joke and a smile on his face. He always enjoyed his family and he will be truly missed by all of his loved ones.
Russell leaves to morn, three daughters: Paige Perry of South Carolina, Shavonda Adams of Owings Mills, Maryland and Janeira Beulah of Federalsburg, Maryland, three sons; Tavon Adams of Cambridge, Maryland, Davion Adams of Baltimore, Maryland and Nasir Adams of Seaford, Delaware, four grandchildren: Alia Boatwright, Atia Boatwright, Amir Adams and Zayvion Adams, one grandmother, Mildred Jones of Linkwood, Maryland, three sisters: Delores Sheffield (Roger) of Hurlock, Maryland, Tammy Pinder of Glen Burnie, Maryland and Lisa Green (Alex) of Hurlock, Maryland, one estranged brother, Donald McKnight of Federalsburg, Maryland and one brother, Victor Pinder of Hurlock, Maryland, two aunts: Alice Anderson (Emmanual) and Carolyn Grant (Dwight), four uncles: Clifford McKnight, Steve McKnight, Alvin Jones, and Freddie Jones, one great aunt, Geraldine Dockins, one great uncle, Wardell Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Russell was preceded in death by his Parents Russell Pinder Sr. and Phyllis Pinder, brother, Edward McKnight, maternal and paternal grandparents and several uncles.
