Roy Keith Warrington Obituary
Roy Keith Warrington, 76, died at his home in Easton, MD, on May 23, 2026,with his loving family at his side.
Roy was born March 13, 1950, in Milford, DE, to William B. and Gladys (Murray) Warrington. He grew up in Clarksville, DE, working on his aunt and uncle’s farm and lifeguarding in Bethany Beach. After graduating from Lord Baltimore High School in 1968, his interest in medicine took him to Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Memphis State University.
Roy worked in real estate, but the desire for his life to be an instrument of healing led him to the ministry. He served as a United Methodist pastor to congregations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland in the 1990s. Later, after finishing professional massage training at the Baltimore School of Massage, Roy became a Licensed Massage Therapist and joined the American Massage Therapy Association. With his wife, Suzy, he was a foster parent for more than 20 years.
Roy was a lifelong learner and musician who enjoyed the Atlantic Ocean and its beaches. He loved singing and playing guitar; his creativity and thoughtfulness were evident in his songwriting. He studied the martial arts and earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Roy never met a stranger; he had a gift for making people feel seen and welcome. Kind, curious, and empathetic, Roy loved being with people and sharing stories and laughter over a good meal. Most of all, Roy cherished time with his family, who lovingly remember him as a husband and father who gave them the world.
Roy is survived by his wife and sweetheart of 35 years, Suzy; his daughter, Nicole Warrington (husband Josh Privitt) of St. Louis, MO; a special daughter, Heather Davis; his grandson, Ky, of Snow Hill, MD; and his Collie, Belle. He is also survived by a sister, Nancy Hardison of Reedsville, PA, his parents-in-law, Paul and Doris Reisinger of New Germantown, PA, sister-in-law Cathy (Jeff) Elliott of Newport, PA, brother-in-law Mark (Lori) Reisinger of Landisburg, PA, along with cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, William (Bill) Warrington, Walter Warrington, and Mark Warrington, two sisters, Connie Stewart and Faye Gray, and his beloved dog Rosie.
In accordance with Roy’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Roy’s name to the following organizations: BAAM (410-924-8003, https://baaminc.org) and Talbot Humane (410-822-0107, www.talbothumane.org).
