Rosetta "Bea" Williams

Rosetta Beatrice Williams, affectionately known as “BEA” was born on October 31, 1961, To Martha McRae.

Bea said I have an appointment that I cannot miss and on November 25, 2023, she gained her wings to be with the Lord, Peacefully at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton.

Bea was educated in the Talbot County Public School System graduating with the Class of 1979. She also completed studies at Chesapeake College.

Bea Joined Metropolitan United Methodist Church February 1993, she served on the Usher board, as a Communion Steward, The Pastor Parish Relation Committee, The Finance Committee as Treasurer, and recently as Finance Secretary, and the Mass Choir.  Bea would say, “God said you take care of my house and I’ll take care of yours” and that’s what she did, always there to do whatever needed to be done.  Bea knew the Lord’s greatness and importance in her life, and she was standing on his promises.

Bea was employed for Caroline County Department of Social Services in Denton, retiring after 44 years of service. Bea loved caring for others, she would make sure others were okay before herself.  She was an avid reader and she loved to bless everyone with spiritual reading material, or bring you lunch from Tomeka’s Eatery in Dover, De. and the pound cake from Wanda Mcnamara. She’d say you have to have some, and everyone fell into pound cake heaven from the first bite and couldn’t wait until she’d bring it again.  When Bea blessed you and you tried to give it back or say, “No you don’t have to do that, she’d say don’t block my blessings, “NO” was not an option she was going to bless you no matter what. Bea’s kindness was more than amazing, there are no words to describe Momma Bear, BEA BEA, she has touched everyone’s life and left us all a piece of her heart, her hearty laugh, her big smile, the looks she could give you when without talking, you knew today is not the day, but she’d tell you, I love you and we loved her, she will truly be missed.

Bea is survived by her two beautiful daughters Adrienne J. Griffin of Greensboro Md, and Kayla R. Griffin (Terrance) of Dover, DE, her loving mother, Martha McRae of Easton, MD, three sisters; Deirdre McRae of Bradenton, FL, Sheron Thomas of Easton, MD, Annetta Lewis (Eugene Sr.) of Easton, MD, two brothers, Reginald McRae (Darlene) and Fredinando McRae of Dover, De, one niece, Lestia Ross, nephews; Terrell Lewis, Eugene Lewis Jr., Deon Lewis, and Devronn Roberts, a very special aunt, Harriett Clayton of Easton, MD, VERY SPECIAL FRIENDS / FAMILY;  Rayshelle Robinson, Kevin & Darlene Deshields, Viola Farrow, Vickie Barnes, Barbara Freeman, Sharon J. Brown, Lucretia Nixon, Dorothy & Russell Jenkins, Dina & Derek Daly, Melissa Kunz, Tiene Holliday, Oretta Duncan, and Loretta Jackson, godsons, Carnez D. Collins II and Carnez D. Collins III, a great nephew, and a host of friends and family to cherish her memory.

Bea was preceded in death by grandparents, Isaac & Hazel Williams and Bartlett & Bertha Roberts, nephew, Larry Ross and brother, Reginald Webb.
