Ronald McKinley Wilson, Jr. of Trappe, Md., was called home on June 11, 2023. He was 44 years old.
Ronald was born January 25, 1979 to Judy Freeman and the late Ronald Wilson Sr. In 1998, he graduated from Easton High School. After graduating, Ronald continued his career, when he started working for his father at 14 at R S & J Excavation and R S & J Pumping until his father’s passing, when Ronald became owner and operator of his late father’s company. Ronald’s passion was operating heavy equipment.
Ronald was a friend to everyone he met. To know Ronald, was to love him, and his loss leaves a large void in many family members’ and friends’ lives. His dedication to his family and friends was unwavering, and will never be forgotten. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, and his infamous green Ford Mustang. He will also be remembered for his steadfast willingness to always lend a helping hand to others, and his enthusiasm and readiness for joining his family and friends for a good time or the next adventure.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Gabrielle Wilson; two siblings, Cedric Freeman Jr. and Sierra Wilson; two nephews, Xavier Balkcom and Cedric Freeman III; a niece, Seinya Wilson; an uncle, who was more like a brother, Jerome Johns (Christa), and their children, Kieri, Spencer and Eleanor; a special friend, Nikki Dodson; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
While Ronald departs this Earth on his next adventure, we know he is greeted with open and loving arms by his father and grandmother, whom everyone called “Mom.” Ronald will never be far from our hearts, and we will continue to keep his memory alive by making sure we live the way he lived, with an abundance of love in our hearts and a huge smile on our face.
