Robert "Bobby" Joseph Harris, Sr.

Robert (Bobby) Joseph Harris Sr., born on April 30, 1963 in Washington, DC, to the late Bobbie Lewis Harris and Pamela Harris (Snyder), passed away at age 59 on February 12, 2023 at home. He grew up in the Lanham area of PG County and attended Bowie High School before graduating in 1981. After graduating he continued in his fathers footsteps as an auto mechanic and then going on to be a transmission specialist.

A year after graduating, he met the love of his life, Joyce Zeisloft. He proposed within three weeks of meeting her and they wed six months later on September 1, 1984. A year later, they welcomed a daughter, Sally Ann and then a son Robert (Joey) Joseph Harris, Jr. two years later. In 1989 they decided to move their family to the Eastern Shore in where they eventually built a house on the outskirts of Centreville. Not long after they moved their family to the Eastern Shore, the couple came across the opportunity to become property managers. For over 25 years they managed two of the most prestigious estates in Queen Anne’s County; Bowlingly Estate in Queenstown and Penderyn Estate in Wye Mills. Bobby knew both properties inside and out and took pride in what he did.

Bobby was smart, funny, charming, whitty and very artistic. Some of his favorite hobbies were hunting, boating, watching Nascar and pulling pranks on his kids and the neighborhood kids. Bobby will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobbie Lewis Harris.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joyce Harris; mother, Pamela Harris; daughter, Sally Ann Coleman and her husband Clay; son, Joey Harris; brother, James Wade Harris Sr. and his wife Dawn; nephew and godson, James (Jimmy) Wade Harris Jr. and his wife Tori; five grandchildren; Brianna Harris, Mason Coleman, Colby Harris, Henry Coleman, Lily Coleman and three great niece's Hailey, Loa and Iva Harris.

Family and friends are invited to honor Bobby for a Celebration of his life on May 13, 2023 at 2pm. The event will be at the Annapolis Moose Lodge - 1890 Crownsville Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401.
