Obituary

Richard Allen Thomas departed this life on Saturday, March 19, 2002 at Easton Memorial hospital at Easton, MD. He was born on September 7, 1947 to the late Alphonso Kellum and Edward Skinner.

Richard graduated in 1965 from Robert Russa Moton High School in Easton, MD.

Richard was enlisted in the AirForce Reg AF in Tacoma Washington on October 21, 1966 and he was stationed at McChord AFB. He was honorably discharged on October 20, 1972.

Richard was employed at the University of Maryland in Queenstown, MD where he cut grass for two years. He later started his own taxi business called “Richie’s Taxi Service”.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, John Kellum, brothers, Edward Skinner Jr., and Dale Skinner, and several aunts and uncles.

Richard leaves to mourn his passing, his brothers, David Kellum (Magda) of Cordova, MD, Alvin Skinner (Roxanne) of Cambridge, MD, Ronald Skinner (Ann) of Sterling, VA and sister, Darlene Skinner of Salisbury, MD, sister-n-law, Diane Skinner of Easton, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
