Rhoda Marie Farmer

Rhoda Marie Farmer Washington of Seaford DE was born on November 14, 1961 in Caroline County to the late Cornelia Jones and Timothy Farmer Jr.  Rhoda transitioned to Glory at the age of 59 on Monday, December 28, 2020 at her home. 

Rhoda received her education in Caroline County Public Schools. In the latter of Rhoda's career she worked in Home Health Care.   Rhoda was ALWAYS devoted to helping others.  Rhoda was a hard worker and was committed to make sure every one was taken care of.  Rhoda gave her life to the Lord at an early and always believed in telling the Lord "Thank Ya!".  Rhoda was a honorary member of Weapons of Warfare Ministries Inc. in Salisbury, MD under the leadership of Pastor Temerius D. Drummond where she served as a missionary.   In her spare time she loved spending time with her family and friends.   She enjoyed watching her TV shows with her son, Mark and traveling with her son, Michael.  Rhoda was a friend to MANY and she always showed herself friendly to everyone she came in contact with and embraced them with loving kindness.

In addition to her parents, Rhoda was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years Mark Ellis Washington Sr. on August 5, 2015.  

Beautiful memories of Rhoda's Life will forever be cherished by her two sons, Mark Ellis Washington Jr. of Bridgeville, DE and Michael Maurice Washington (Tasha) of Seaford DE, two special grands, Xeona Jones and Khmarae Bessicks of Dover, DE, two special sisters, Druscilla Pete of Cambridge, MD and Sandra Beulah of Federalsburg, MD, and one brother, Robert White of Philadelphia, PA, four devoted friends; Carla Smith, Roberta Archer, Carolyn Seaton-Scott, and Beverly "Jeanie" Richards, and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
