Renwick received his education in the Dorchester County public school system. He was a graduate of the class of 1973. He was known as the class clown and was loved by many because he was a fun person to be around.
Renwick was no stranger to hard work, he held several jobs throughout his life including; working on the family farm planting watermelons, he also worked at Purity Bacon, Perdue Farms, and Pillsbury (Kraft Foods) until he retired.
Renwick enjoyed his TV, never missing Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, his western cowboys and his favorite team, the Golden State Warriors to see his favorite player, Stephen Curry. He also enjoyed eating.

His family was a priority to him, he was always there for them, especially his children and grandchildren. He was willing to help anyone in need and because of his personality people would stop at nothing to help him. He was a strong man and most admired for his strength and love.
