Rebecca Lynn Friend, 34, of Cambridge, MD passed away at the home of her parents on May 2, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her fighting spirit and personal strength were always an inspiration to everyone she knew.

Rebecca was born on August 28, 1988 in Easton, MD. She graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 2006. She attended Chesapeake College and Anne Arundel Community College and graduated with a physical therapy assistant degree. She spent her career working at Pivot Physical Therapy.

Rebecca enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a love for all animals, but especially for her own cats. She liked the beach and strolling the boardwalk. She was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Capitols.

Rebecca is survived by her parents Ann “Chris” Riley and Johns Briggs; grandmother, Barbara Young, grandfather, Carson (Bonnie) Riley, mom mom Loretta Briggs, special friend, Josh and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was so brave and faced every step of her cancer journey with grace.
