Randoff E. Stanford, the son of late William Issac Stanford and the late Mary W. Stanford, was born on Sunday, October 24,1937 in Easton, Maryland. He departed this life on Monday, August 22, 2022 at The Talbot Hospice Center in Easton, MD.
Randoff grew up in Easton where he attended the public schools of Talbot County Maryland. He also served in the US Military from August 29,1958 to February 23, 1959. After the military, Randoff was self-employed as a crabber and he owned his own boat. He would spend countless hours on the waters of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
In 1960, he married Laverne Gibson and from this union, three boys were born; Randolph, Vaughn, and Anthony. They later moved to Wilmington, Delaware, where he worked at Desabatino Brothers Construction as a mason. After
some years in Wilmington, he moved back to St. Michaels, Maryland.
Randoff was known as a loving, friendly, and kind man who always keep a smile on his face. He loved to tease and have fun and his witty sense of humor would always put a smile on the faces of his family and friends. He was a great dresser and always drove around town in a nice car.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Stanford, sisters, Kathleen E. Stanford and Pauline Haskins, brothers, William Stanford and Henry Stanford, brother-in law, Phillip Haskins and grandson, Tevan Patrick.
Randoff’s memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his sons; Randolph Stanford of New Castle, DE, Vaughn Stanford (Deana) of Smyrna, DE, Anthony Stanford (Tykisa) of Woodland Hills, CA, Willard Johnson (Leslie) of Bear DE, brother, Gene Stanford (wife) of Cambridge, MD, devoted cousin, BOBO of Cordova, MD, devoted niece, Kathleen Brummel (husband) of Cambridge, MD, best friend, Laverne G. Johnson of New Castle, DE and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
