Ophelia Vanessa Hale, born on January 8, 1971, in Trenton, NJ to Juana Jackson Christina Hale and Louis Suggz, departed this life on October 23, 2024 peacefully at her home in Cambridge, Maryland.
She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church in Cambridge, MD led by Pastor Randolph Fitchett. She went to John Adams and Studied Liberal Arts. She then pursed being on 21 Jump Street.
She worked various jobs from waitressing to retail at the airport. She then relocated to the lower shore of Maryland and worked at Allen foods, Dorchester General Hospital, Hyatt Hotel, and at Dorchester county public schools where she was the head custodian. She finally started her own business before she departed.
Her hobbies include: cooking, socializing, cleaning, learning new things, going to church and signing on the church choir.
Her favorite saying was “I'm Regular. She was a funny and amazing person. She surrendered her life to God and began to live a Christian life.
Ophelia leaves to mourn, her only daughter, Kayla Denise Hale, two sisters, Verdell and Rita, only nephew, Kayvon, niece, Kantazia, and great grand nieces, Takoua, Majesty and Kristina, uncles, Alberto and Julian and extended family; Cherly, Tiffany, Tyrell, and grandkids, and long time friend, Apostle Biggie.
