Michael Anthony Tingle

Michael Anthony Tingle, son of Hallie Tingle and Charles Garrison, was born on February 18, 1962. He departed this life on February 3, 2021 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was 58 years old.

Michael received his education in the Indian River School district. He worked in the poultry industry, at McDonald’s and the Sigma Steel Co. in Selbyville, DE for several years. 

Michael loved the Washington Redskins, no matter what he put on, he would wear his Redskins hat every day.  If anyone needed a ride somewhere, he would make himself available to take them.

On November 10, 2007 he married his wife, Marcella Tingle.  They were together for 16 years and married for 13.  He was a member of Faith Deliverance House of Prayer for the past 13 years.

Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia, two brothers, Randolph and Mark Charles, and two uncles, Calvin and Jack, and two brothers-in-law, Mark Murray Sr. and Arthur Darden Sr.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 13 years, Marcella Tingle of Federalsburg, MD, stepdaughter, Brittany Baltimore, two grandchildren, Jazmere and Sincere all of Federalsburg, MD, his mother Hallie Tingle of Dagsboro, DE, his father, Charles Garrison of Frankford, DE, three sisters, Priscilla Tingle of Dagsboro, DE, Pamela Hitchens (Jerome) of Millsboro, DE, Charlotte Green, Georgetown, DE, five brothers, Preston Tingle of Dagsboro, DE, Ronnie Tingle of Seaford, DE, Kevin and Brian Garrison of Florida, Glenn Garrison of Roxanne, DE, mother-in-law, Joan Baltimore of Salisbury, MD, father-in-law, Arthur Baltimore (Verna) of Federalsburg, MD, sister-in-law Adrienne Baltimore (Chester) of Salisbury, MD, two godsons, Spencer Baltimore of Hurlock, MD, Jamal Tingle-Baltimore of Salisbury, MD, brother-in-law, James Fletcher of Federalsburg, MD and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
