Michael Jerome Holliday

Michael Jerome Holliday, affectionately known as “Muff” or “Dollar” departed this life on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  Born on March 9, 1952 to the late Solomon T. Fosque, Dorsey L. Holliday, Sr. and Dorothy L. Holliday.

He was married to the late Joan Copper Holliday.

Michael was the owner of Holliday Landscape Maintenance and a partner in Unlimited Land Management LLC. Prior to becoming a business owner he was a proud waterman.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Michelle J. Holliday, grandchildren, Ja’Keira Holliday, Jonte Holliday, Jordan Holliday, and Jayla Holliday, great grandchildren, Jael Holliday Laguerre and Honesty Holliday, sisters, Patsy Camper, Mary Fosque, Faith Holliday and Bessie Corston (Dave), brother Dorsey L. Holliday Jr. (Laura), Robert Smith, aunts, Doris Ann Barnett and Elizabeth Wright, “sons” Andre Davis and Doug Brummell; and a dedicated friend, Venus Thomas, and a host of relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his son, Michael Jerome Holliday Jr., granddaughter, Jasmine M. Holliday, siblings, Carolyn Makell, Joseph Holliday, and Shirley Opher.
