Michael Christopher Haddaway of Hurlock, Maryland died in Baltimore, MD. He was 72 years old.
Michael was the son of James Frank Haddaway and Agnes Wallace Haddaway.
He received his education in the Talbot County public school system. After graduating, Michael decided to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy, where he received an Honorable discharge. Michael was recognized in the military for outstanding service by receiving the NDS Medal, Good Conduct Award. His last duty assignment and Major Command was on the USS Independence CVA-62. After being released from active duty Michael wanted to continue serving so he transferred to the naval reserve in Bainbridge, MD.
Michael was preceded in death by James Frank Haddaway and Agnes Wallace Haddaway, Samantha Griebel and Kallista Griebel Williams.
Michael is survived by his wife, Lutitia Fletcher Haddaway, three grandchildren; Lamont Hughes, Theresa Hughes, and Journey Hughes, stepson, Duron Hughes, brothers; Tony Haddaway, Stephen Haddaway, Mark Haddaway, sister, Theresa Haddaway Griebel (married to Lawrence Griebel), niece, Hannah Griebel and a host of other family and friends.
