Mary Ann Willis sadly departed her earthly life on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Denton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Denton, MD.

Mary was the second child born on September 15, 1958 to the late Joshua Thomas and Virgie Willis.

Mary received her education in the Caroline County public school system and was a proud graduate of Colonel Richardson High School.

Mary held various jobs throughout her life, however, her most memorable one was at Kmart Retail stores in Elkton, MD.

Mary was a very jovial and friendly person and very well known in the town of Federalsburg where she lived for many years. She had a love for many things including her family, having fun and Michael Jackson’s music. She also loved to have others pray with her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Joseph Batson and several aunts and uncles.

Mary leaves to cherish her love and memories, son, William Willis, brother, Robert Thomas, grand-children, William, Nyzere, Joseph, and Javion Willis, cousins, Valerie Lacey (guardian), Louise Dixon, Maureen Dixon and a host of other family and friends.

Psalm 23

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
