Lori Kathleen Satchell

Lori K. Satchell of Easton was peacefully called to heaven on July 11, 2025. She passed away surrounded by love in her home at the age of 67 after a long battle with dementia.

Lori had a generous heart and a gentle spirit, always putting other first and spent her life uplifting those around her. Lori, born in Bad Kissingen, Germany, spent her early years living and traveling across the US and Europe. She graduated from Nürnberg American High School in Germany and later received her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee and master’s in counseling from Salisbury University. In 1983, she landed in Talbot County where she began her career at Easton Middle School and dedicated 33 years to inspiring the minds of countless students.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, family and friends were the most meaningful and important part of Lori’s life. She enjoyed spending her time tinkering in her garden, and at her favorite place, Rehoboth Beach, where she could often be found with coconut ice cream in hand.

A celebration of life will take place at Foxy’s in St. Michael’s on August 9, 2025 from 3-6pm. The family would love for everyone who crossed paths with Lori to attend, wearing their brightest colors in honor of her radiant spirit.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lori’s memory to the Talbot County Humane Society or the Talbot County Public Library.
