Lori Ann Cooper

Lori Ann Cooper was born on April 3, 1963 to the late Rufus Rivers and Gertrude Hughes in Cambridge, Md. She departed this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD.

Lori received her education in the public schools of Dorchester County, MD.

Lori loved cooking, watching her soap operas and spending time with her family. She hosted many family gatherings and cookouts for both family and friends.

Lori was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She leaves to cherish loving memories with her stepfather, Daniel Hughes Jr. of Hurlock, MD, her boyfriend of over 36 years, Tommy Moals of Easton, MD, two sons, Lavon and LaMar Cooper of Easton, MD, two sisters, Nicole Henry (Dwight A. Henry Jr.) of Preston, MD, Wendy Megginson (Douglas Megginson) of Hurlock, MD, five grandsons; Terry, Shod, Ty’cere, Kiyo and Kiarie, two nieces, Destiny Holden (Malik) of Seaford, DE and Makayla Megginson of Hurlock, MD, one nephew, Rakeem Henry of Seaford, DE, three aunts; Marie Chester of Rhodesdale, MD, Mable Holland of Hurlock, MD, Linda Pinkett of Hurlock, MD, uncle James Pinkett (Pauline) of Rhodesdale, MD, a host of cousins and several special friends whom she loved dearly. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Regina L. Cephas and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
