Leroy William Jones

Leroy William Jones peacefully slipped away into the arms of the Lord early Monday morning December 4, 2023 at the Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Easton, MD. He was 62 years old.

Leroy was born on April 21, 1961 to the late Harvey and Roselee Smith. He attended Dorchester County public schools. His last employment was B&G Foods and Allen Foods in Hurlock, MD.

Leroy married Heather Dorsey who preceded him in death. Leroy loved the Lord and attended various churches. He loved his children and was a kind. Loving, quiet and peaceful life. When he was able to, he loved riding his bike. He also enjoyed relaxing, listening to old music, watching old TV shows and fishing. He was loved by the ladies because of his changeable blue-green eyes.

Leroy leaves to cherish his life and memories, his children, Leroy Jones Jr. and KeiOsha Turner, both of  Cambridge, MD, sisters, Rose Pinkett and Geraldine Thompson (Tim) both of Federalsburg, MD, Lily Richards and Virginia Dotson both of Seaford, DE, brothers, Ollie Jones (Angie) of Federalsburg, MD, Roy Smith of Denton, MD, Freddie Smith (Gloria) of Cambridge, MD, best friend, Marzell Wongus of VA, and a host of friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Roselee Smith and wife Heather Jones and other relatives.
