LeBrone Ornette Scott, Sr., a.k.a. “POP,” born on April 30, 1976, took his eternal rest on November 24, 2025. POP was born the son of the late Betty Scott and Anthony Woolford.
Pop graduated from North Dorchester High School in Hurlock, MD.
Pop was also employed by several eastern shore establishments throughout his time while living in Maryland such as Nasir’s Exxon, security at B&G, J. B. Hunt, many different behavioral health
organizations, and ultimately when he moved to Florida, he pursued the career of being an over-the-road truck driver.
Pop was well known for his sense of humor, love of sports, and being an all-around awesome person. His hobbies included spending time with his friends and family and watching and attending sporting events such as wrestling, football, and basketball. He was a huge New England Patriots fan.
Pop was loved by all. He definitely knew how to brighten someone’s day with his charming personality and had a laugh that you would always remember.
Pop was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jane Scott; grandmother, Mary Scott; uncles, David Scott, Sir Walter, and Joseph Scott; and aunts, Alberta Scott Rankins and Ramona Scott.
Pop leaves to mourn: his children, LeBrone Scott, Jr., “Pooder,” Lamar Scott, Labrisha Scott, Labronsha Scott, Lavonte Scott of Hurlock, MD, Chantel Dixon of Cambridge, and Sierra Scott of Bayboro, NC; second mother, Geraldine Conway; grandchildren, Kaiden, Khalil, Amarii, Armani, and Amerah of Hurlock, MD; uncles, Jerry Scott, Michael Scott, and Randolph Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family extends a heartfelt thanks for expressions of sympathy, words of kindness, and prayers.
