Larry "Sparkles" Darnell Fountain

Larry Darnell Fountain affectionately known as “Sparkle” was born on February 9, 1976 to Leatrice Fountain and the late Larry Dawson.

Larry departed this life quietly on December 11, 2022 at his residence.

Larry received his education in the schools of Caroline and Talbot Counties in Maryland. He was a graduate of St. Michaels High School, the Class of 1986. 

Larry loved cars and attending various car shows, he loved playing basketball with his Uncle Maine. Larry held numerous jobs throughout the counties. He was employed at the ChesterWye Center until his untimely passing. It was there where he made many friends. Larry was a true champion to his family.

Left to cherish loving memories are his mother, Leatrice Fountain (Robert) of Ridgely, Md, daughters; Shaleah and Shalara Fountain of Federalsburg, Md, stepdaughter; Nah’Kayla Johnson of Preston, Md, sister, Latanya Holley of Easton, Md, special cousin to whom he took as his little sister, Meshera Fountain of Harrington, De, nieces; Taniya Fountain, Ma’nizh Brown of Ridgely, Md, grandmother, Velma Fountain of Ridgely, Md, special friends; Julie Rodriguez and children and Jessica Lewis and children, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dawson Jr., grandparents, Henry Fountain, Evelyn Dawson, Kenneth Dawson, uncle, Valerius “Tuffy” Fountain, aunt, Denise Fountain and Barbara Dawson.
