Jerome Hudson Obituary

Jerome Hudson aka “Romie Rome” was born on December 6, 1961 in Easton, Maryland to the late Bernice Peterson and Willie Hudson. He departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 63 in Prince Georges County.


He attended North Dorchester high school. In 1979 he enlisted in the US army in. In 1999 he decided to join the National Guard. 


Before Jerome took sick he was working at the Allen Foods Hatchery in Hurlock, MD. He gave his life to Christ a few years ago. 


Jerome enjoyed life. He loved to go fishing, being around family and friends, listening to his oldies but goodies and he also loved to cut up and talk trash to people. It just wouldn’t be him if he didn’t do that.


Jerome is proceeded in death by his mother, Bernice Peterson, father, Willie Hudson, sister, Darnecia Hudson, grandmother, Helen Peterson and Johnnie Mae Hudson, and his grandfather, Willie Peterson.  


Jerome leaves to mourn his daughters; Candice Hudson, Shineka Hardison (Troy) both of Denton MD, Tyeshia Blacknall (Joey) of Saint Michaels, MD, ten granddaughters, two grandsons, sister, Elaine Pinckett (James) of Hurlock MD, brothers, Ray Hudson of Hurlock MD, Vince Dixon (Tanya) of PG County and Little Brooken of Salisbury MD, special nieces; Tynika Hudson, Sherlaine Cornish and Ryesha Hudson, close cousin; Andre’ Barham, close friend, Roberta Ennals and a host of other family and friends
