Jean Lillian (Zera) Mason

EASTON – Jean L. (Zera) Mason, 84, of Easton passed away peacefully November 2, 2024 at Arcadia Assisted Living of Easton. She was the wife of the late James Mason who passed away July 21, 2019. Jean was born February 11, 1940 in Queens, NY and was the daughter of John & Lillian (Wolf) Zera. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood, NY about 1957. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Easton. Jean was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and Baltimore Orioles. She is survived by her stepchildren, James Mason of Pennsylvania; Cathy Hardwick and Peter Mason both of Ohio; her sister and nieces Alice Barba, Kristina Barba and Stacy Barba all of Florida; seven step grandchildren and fourteen step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers John & Thomas Zera. Per Jean’s wishes, a cremation without a viewing or memorial service is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
