James Anthony Nixon was born on December 28, 1972, to James Fields and Virginia Nixon. He grew up in Easton, Maryland and attended Easton High School.
Jamie always worked hard and took great pride in his work, no matter the task. He enjoyed cooking, which he channeled into his roles at the Rustic Inn Restaurant and Golden Corral. Later, he devoted his time working for a residential moving company, where his ambitious work ethic continued to shine. Jamie's commitment and dedication left a lasting, positive impression on everyone he worked with.
Jamie was passionate about everything he did, from playing little league baseball as a young boy, to being a huge Orioles baseball fan as an adult. Jamie was a devoted supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles football team which was a big part of his life. He loved talking about sports, fishing, and sharing pictures of his catches with everyone.
Family meant everything to Jamie. He loved spending time with his loved ones and never missed a chance to tell you how much he loved you. Family gatherings, where he could barbecue for everyone, were his favorite. He considered his close friends as family and touched the lives of everyone he knew and met along the way.
God looked down and saw the need to call Jamie home to be with Him on July 2nd, 2024. Jamie will always be remembered for his joy of life, his laughter, and his passion for the things he loved.
