James Michael “Mike” Farrow, Jr was born on November 28, 1967 and passed away on April 22, 2026 in Salisbury, MD. Mike was the beloved son of James Michael Farrow, Sr (Lydia) and the late Burnette Askew. He was a devoted father, family man, and friend whose love and presence touched many lives.
Mike was raised by his grandparents until the age of 14. He then moved to North Carolina with his father and stepmother before eventually returning to Maryland, where he continued to build his life and his family. Mike attended school in Dorchester County, MD. He later acquired his GED in adulthood.
He worked as a laborer at B&G and was known for his strong work ethic. Outside of work, Mike had a personality that could light up any room. He loved to make people smile and was a natural jokester, always bringing laughter and joy to those around him. Mike was also known for his love of chess. With a very competitive spirit, one of his favorite pastimes was to challenge his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tayandre Farrow, his grandfather, James Albert “Brother”, and his grandmother, Mary Evelyn.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Keith Williams (Rosa) of Portsmouth, VA, Madonna McNeil of Spring Lake, NC, Michael Farrow of Baltimore, MD, Tyron Woolford of Cambridge, MD, Ebony Trader of Salisbury, MD, Cierra Farrow of Cambridge, MD, Tyronda Woolford of Cambridge, MD, Tyvonte Watson of Federalsburg, MD, Alisa Brown of Federalsburg, MD and a bonus daughter Alexis Harmon (Jayson) of Washington D.C. He also leaves behind a special woman in his life, fiance’, Denise Jones of Salisbury, MD, whom he loved dearly, along with her four children and grandchildren, beloved siblings; Onealious Farrow of Jacksonville, FL; Shawnta Campbell (Gary) of Jacksonville, FL, Chris Jones of Logansville, GA, Shermonica Williams (Eddie) of Moyock, NC; Sheronda Farrow of Suffolk, VA; Dellia Biagas (Roland) of Linden, NC, and James A. Farrow of Fayetteville, NC, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Mike was a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy and happiness.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
