James Berry, Jr. Obituary

James Franklin Berry, Jr., was born on February 15, 1960, to James Berry Sr. and the late Elsie Berry of Cordova, MD.  James Jr. received his education through Talbot County Public School system.  He was a 1979 graduate of Easton High School.

 

James Jr. worked for Talbot County Roads in the late 1990s for several years before taking employment with the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, Easton, MD.

 

James Jr. enjoyed detailing vehicles and landscaping in his younger years, but became a dedicated fan of the soap opera, Young & The Restless, during his retirement.  James Jr. was loved by many for his sincere kindness towards them.

 

James Jr. departed his life on June 9, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Berry, his maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Alice Dobson of Cordova, MD, his paternal grandparents, Wes and Anna Berry of Cordova, MD & Philadelphia, PA and a niece, Iyanu Omosebi, and a host of uncles and aunts from both sides of the family. 

 

He leaves his family to cherish his memories, his father, James Berry, Sr., two daughters, Ciera and Zari Berry; four sisters Dina Berry, Lesa Berry, Charlene Diaz (Billy) and Vastina Omosebi; a close cousin, James (Tony) Dobson (Naoko); one nephew, Tyron Finney Sr. (Linore), three nieces; Brittany Dobson, Jazzmin Berry and Khiya Diaz, two great-nephews, Tyron Jr. and Landon Finney, three great- nieces; Ashtyn Finney, Tayva Baiye and Adoree Spencer; one uncle, James Dobson of Stevensville, MD, two aunts, Doris Powell of Easton, MD and Mary Frazier of Cordova, MD, and many other loving family members and friends.
