Jacqueline Perser Obituary

Jacqueline Kay Skipper Perser of Federalsburg, MD peacefully gained her Angel Wings on February 18, 2025 at The University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, Easton, Maryland. She was 75 years old.

Jacqueline was born on November 10, 1949 to the late Leon “Jimmy” and Helen Steele Skipper. She was known to most as Jacki and affectionately known to her grandchildren as MaMa and NaNa.

Jacki was educated in the Talbot County Public School System. Jacki worked most of her adult life at Airpax/Egide in Cambridge, MD, in which she retired from. She worked at Aphena in Easton, MD for a short time. Jacki worked part-time at Walmart in Cambridge, MD and then at Walgreens in Easton, MD until full retirement.

Jacki loved her family especially her grandchildren tremendously! She ALWAYS had a story about at least 1 of her grandchildren anytime you talked to her. Jacki could be found with family at either Texas Roadhouse or China Buffet on Fridays as she loved to go and eat, those were her favorites. Jacki loved to read, she learned her love of reading from her mother and taught that love to her daughter. Jacki was also a lover of animals. Her current fur babies “Simba” and “Royal“ were always by her side.

Jacki was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ted Skipper, niece Kathy Jo Elliott and great-niece Amanda Elliott.

Jacki leaves her son, Francis “FD” Allen Jr. of Federalsburg, MD, her daughter, Angelica Perser Cook (Gregory, Sr.) of Laurel, DE, granddaughters Chelsea Allen, Alexia Allen, Aja Cook, Alexis Cook and Hannah Allen, grandsons Daniel Allen, Gregory “Tre'” Cook, Jr., Thomas Allen, Nicholas Allen, special grandson Josh Brown, great-grandchildren, Skylar Jack, Alexander Rae, Scotlynd and Chloe, sisters, Dottie Johnson of Easton, MD, and Lois Elliott of Cambridge, MD, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews to cherish her memory forever.

The family wishes to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the nurses who provided care to Jacki during her stay at UMMS, Easton, MD. She was always treated with the upmost respect and compassion.
