Irvin Wallace Jarrell was born on November 10, 1932 to the late Norman Earl Jarrell and the late Almedia Augustus Seals. He died on July 7, 2024 at Corsica Hills Nursing Center in Centreville, MD at the age of 91.
Irvin received his education in the Caroline County Public School Systems of Maryland. He Graduated from Lockerman High School in Denton MD in 1951. Immediately after hight school, Irvin decided to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He was stationed in Korea. While in the Army he learned how to repair and drive Tractor and Trailer Trucks. He was discharged in 1953.
When he returned home, he worked alongside his father and brother on their farm. He did this for several years. He then drove a Cement Truck for M.A. Hartnett in Dover DE. Irvin later tried his hand at entrepreneurship and decided to start his own Dump Trucking business. He did this until his retirement.
Irvin was preceded in death by his late wife, Ethel Harmon from Fredrica, DE, brother, James Jarrell, sisters, Ella (Ms. Sam) Jarrell Wilson and Helen Louise Jarrell Wilson.
Left to cherish fond memories are his niece and nephews; Almedia C. Jarrell “Too”, Chev'quon Jarrell, Tammy D. Jarrell, Bonnie V Smith, William Perry Jarrell, James Irvin Wilson, Alcelia Lynette (Billie) Jarrell, Helen Mary Ann Wilson, Brenda McCove, Ella L. Martin, and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
