Inez Sarah White

Inez Sarah White, age 83, was born on November 1, 1936, to the late Linwood and Inez Lively. She
departed this life on June 9, 2020, at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, Chestertown,
Maryland. She received her education in the Kent County Public School system.
Mrs. White was employed by both Vita Food and Campbell Soup. She was also a domestic worker for
several private families in the Kent County area and maintained a commercial cleaning business with her
husband during their later years. Mrs. White was a woman of many talents and hobbies. She enjoyed
singing for the Lord, reading her Bible, cooking, gardening, tending to her lawn and flowerbeds, sewing,
and shopping.
During her lifetime, Mrs. White attended Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Still Pond Charge,
Gospel Church of God, Chestertown, MD and Full Gospel Church of Deliverance, Townsend, DE. In 1985
she helped to establish Prayer Band of Faith Church, Inc., where she served faithfully as a Missionary for
many years.
Mrs. White was proceeded in death by her husband, Elder George W. White Sr. and oldest daughter,
Debra P. Cruz. Mrs. White is survived by her children, George White Jr., of Middletown, DE; Dorothy
Cotton and her husband Raymond Cotton III, of Still Pond, MD; James White and his wife Alma, of
Chestertown, MD; sisters, Elizabeth Lively and Margaret Newman of Chestertown, MD, and brother
James Lively of Winchester, VA. Mrs. White also leaves 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2
great-great children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her memory.
