Gloria Tibbs Obituary

Gloria (Faye) Bowers Tibbs was born on May 28, 1925 in Virginia, to the late Dr. Selma M. Bowers and Florentine Bowers. She departed this life on July 20, 2020 at the Talbot Hospice in Easton, MD. She was 95 years old.

Gloria would later meet the love of her life, the late Asa D. Tibbs, and was blessed together with three sons, who she loved dearly. She took great pride in raising her children and made sure they knew that they were her top priority.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Asa D. Tibbs, on September 16, 2005, and her son Asa Garnett Tibbs on April 6, 2017.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her two sons; Dale Lane Tibbs and Homan Lee Tibbs (Roslyn), her grandchildren; Katie B Tibbs, Nicole Ashworth, Casey G Tibbs, Brandi E Tibbs, Joshua D Tibbs, Jason Tibbs, Justin Tibbs, Jordon Tibbs, Devin Tibbs, and Brandon Tibbs, and her great grandchildren; Logan Tibbs, Nick Ashworth, Colin Ashworth, and Owen Tibbs.
