Gloria Jean Nickens

Gloria Jean Nickens, the daughter of the late Leon and Naomi Haynes was born October 12 1962. Her earthly mission was fulfilled on September 17, 2021 at Onslow Memorial Hospital Jacksonville NC.

Gloria was educated in the Queen Anne County public school system and once she graduated she started traveling. She worked over 20 years in restaurant management until her health declined.

Gloria enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She had a smile that lit up the room! You never caught Gloria out of tact she always looked stunning even if she wasn't going anywhere. She was just a beautiful person inside and out. 

Gloria was preceded in death by her father Leon Haynes.

Gloria leaves mourn, her loving mother, Naomi Haynes, three beautiful loving daughters, Joyneka and Chyna Nickens of NC., Tyneka Gibson (Tommy) of Georgia and two grandsons, brothers, Leon Johnson (Lorre), Terry Johnson, Michael Johnson (Romaine), Dickie Banks (Bridgette), sister, Shirley Benston, a loving niece, Latrisha Carter (Norman) and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She will be truly missed!
