Emma Mae Elliott

Emma Mae (Holliday) Elliott was born on June 14, 1942, to the late Delsie and Philip Holliday. Emma departed this life on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at University of Maryland Hospital in Easton, MD at the age of 83. 

Emma had various factory jobs until her health started to decline. Emma loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren talking with them for hours either on the phone or in person exchanging stories. Going to Bingo and putting together puzzles was what she enjoyed doing while relaxing.  Emma also loved watching her favorite football teams Baltimore Ravens, and San Fransico 49ers play.

Emma is survived by her only daughter, Jacqueline (Jackie), Elliott of Hurlock, MD, niece, Felita Friend of Federalsburg, MD, and nephew, Alan Friend of Salisbury, MD, whom she raised, eleven grandchildren, Kasy Johnson, Yolanda Morgan, Cory Warner, Emerson (Pete) Elliott III, Dwayne Elliott Sr., Daman Caven, Kyiesha Elliott, Tiffany Elliott, Isaiah Elliott, Philip (Phil) Elliott, and Benito Elliott, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

In addition to her parents Emma was preceded in death by two sons, Emerson “EM” Eugene Elliott, Jr., and Virgil “Bird” Eugene Elliott, four brothers, and one sister.
