Elsie Mae Berry was born on July 30, 1941 to Gilbert and Alice Dobson of Cordova, MD. Elsie received her education through Moton Public School.
Sister Elsie accepted Christ as her Savior at St. Matthews UM Church of Easton, MD. Where she served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord.
Elsie was a daycare provider for many years before retiring. Elsie enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She loved doing crossword puzzles.
Elsie, a woman of great strength, blessed and loved by many, departed this life on December 20, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents (Gilbert and Alice), a brother (Charles Dobson) and grand-daughter (Iyanu Omosebi).
Elsie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, James Berry, Sr., one brother, James (Gene) Dobson and one sister, Mary Frazier, five children; one son James (Frank) Berry and four daughters; Dina Berry, Lesa Berry, Charlene Diaz (Billy) and Vastina Omosebi, six grandchildren; Tyron Finney (Linore), Brittany Dobson, Ciera Berry, Jazzmin Berry, Zari Berry and Khiya Diaz, five great grandchildren; Tyron, Jr., Ashtyn and Landon Finney, Tayva Baiye and Adoree Spencer and many loving cousins, in-laws and friends.
