She was born on June 4, 1931, in Easton, Maryland to the late Russell (Sr.) and Blanche Jenkins.

Not only did Ellice sing on the church choir but various choirs within the church for eighty-two years. She was the soloist on the song “Unity.” Ellice and Edward were faithful members of Union. They served on the Deacon Board and were the custodians of Union for many years.
Ellice's enjoyment was watching television (T.D. Jakes, home improvement shows, game shows, etc.), ironing, solving crossword puzzles, crocheting afghans for family and friends, shopping for makeup and most of all, making people laugh. Ellice was loved by all and is already deeply missed.
