Elder, Herbert Maurice Murray, Sr.

Elder Herbert M. Murray Senior departed this life on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland at the age of 84.

Elder Herbert Murray Sr. was one of eight children to the late Wilbert and Martha Murray of Preston Maryland, he was educated in Caroline County School System.

Herbert Murray Sr. was employed at Kraft General Foods in Dover, Delaware for 38 years. 

Elder Herbert Murray Sr. was preceded in death by his sisters; Ella Mae Murray, Clara Fletcher, Lois Edwards, three brothers; Robert Sherwood, Wilbert Monroe, William Albert Murray. 

Elder Herbert Murray Senior leaves to cherish fond memories to his Loving Wife of 65 years, Sharon M. Murray of Salisbury, Maryland, one sister, Ethel Perkins of Middletown, Connecticut, his beloved six children; Sylvia (Russell) Horsey, of Easton, Maryland, Herbert (Debra) Murray Jr., of Murrieta, California, Anthony Quailes of Hurlock, MD, Apostle Stephanie Wallace of Salisbury, Maryland, Carsherrie Murray, of Salisbury Maryland, Antonio (Gail) Murray of East New Market, Maryland and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and his church family, “Visions of Mercy Outreach Ministries and a host of friends
