Dwayne Anthony Dotson died on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Coastal Hospice in Salisbury, MD, he was 58 years old. He was born on November 17, 1961 to Christine Dotson and the late Walter Leon Dotson, Jr.
Dwayne received his education in the Dorchester County school system. Following his education, he decided to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. After serving in the military he went on to follow his dream of being a truck driver like his father. This was an accomplishment that he was very proud of.
Dwayne enjoyed cooking seafood and driving his truck. His favorite saying was “My way or the highway”. He will always be remembered for his smile.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Walter Dotson, Jr., both paternal and maternal grandmothers, Ada Dotson and Edna Thomas.
Dwayne is survived by his loving mother, Christine Dotson, his children; William Sampson, Dwayne Dotson Jr., Kyesha Murray, Devin Mills, and Jaylin Hopkins, his nieces and nephews; Lashonda Dotson, of Easton Md, Krystal Dotson Joshua (Tayo) of Laurel Md, Jessica Wilson of Hurlock, Md, LaShawn Jenkins of Cambridge Md, and Javon Bolden of Seaford De, his sisters; Jackie Dotson of Easton Md, Bonita of New York, his brother Walter Wilson (Lisa) of Preston, Md, six grandchildren, special aunts; Doris Jenkins and Marlene Dotson of Easton Md, Denise Morton (Bailey) of Philadelphia, special cousin Theodosius Jenkins of Easton, MD, special friend Ella Mills and a hosts of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
