Dwayne Demby, Jr. Obituary

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven; a time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

Dwayne Lamont Demby, Jr. age 27, departed this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford DE. He was born November 3, 1992, in Cambridge, MD, to Rosetta Demby of Federalsburg, MD and Dwayne Demby, Sr., of East New Market, MD.

“Little Boobie,” as he was so affectionately called, known by many, received his formal education in the Dorchester County Public School System, and was a graduate of North Dorchester High School in the “Class of 2010.” He also attended Salisbury University and graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in 2016. Dwayne was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity, Salisbury University. He was the President of the Salisbury University Step Squad. He also followed in his father’s footsteps and obtained his CDL’s in 2019.

Little Boobie was employed at several companies, with his last employment being with Valley Protein and helping his uncle, Andre Henry deliver furniture.

Dwayne was Christened at 6 months of age at Mount Calvary United Methodist Church. He received his early religious training at Hurlock United Methodist Church. He was baptized on September 6, 2020 at 11:48am at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital by Pastor DaShon Ennals.

Little Boobie loved his mother, father and family. He was the type of young man that was always ready to lend a helping hand to any and everybody, at any given time, night or day. He was the type of person who had an infectious smile, that would light up any room, and always found something to smile about. His smile would always catch on quickly, and before you knew it, everyone around him would be smiling. Little Boobie let his infectious smile affect everyone around him with his love, joy and friendship. He was an organ donor so this shows he was a true hero that loved and gave to the very end. To have known him was to love him. You couldn’t help but love Little Boobie, he was just one of a kind!

Little Boobie loved music, sports, playing cards, chess and most importantly his REMOTE CONTROL, which you would never catch him without!
