Doris Elizabeth Greene

Doris Elizabeth Greene, 83 of Talbot County departed this life on Monday December 25, 2023. Born July 3, 1940, daughter of the late Carroll and Anna Murray.

Doris was educated in the public schools of Talbot County Public Schools. Doris worked numerous jobs, Con Agra, Tidewater Inn, Black & Decker where she retired. She wanted to stay busy, so she became employed at Walmart where she enjoyed meeting and talking with people. She really enjoyed being a cashier.

Doris is survived by three children; Anthony Greene (Tanya) of Cambridge Md, Freda Blake (Kevin) and Kevin Greene Sr. of Easton Md, eight grandchildren; Shavonte Greene, Tyesha Greene, Meia Stubbs, Desmond Greene, Kevin Greene Jr, Tiejon Johns, Tionte Johns, Tariq Johns, eight great-grandchildren; Shawn Warner Jr., Nakhi Miller, Jasi Greene, Ty’Lei Greene, Titus Mapp Jr, Makhi Mapp, Ava Greene, TiMaya Mapp, two sisters, Ann Murray and Joyce Murray, two nieces, Linda Murray and Lesa Wilson, two nephews, Tyrone Wilson (Roslene) and Bruce Murray (Anisa) and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins all of Camden, New Jersey.

In addition to her parents, Doris is proceeded in death by a husband, Sherman N. Greene, two brothers, Leonard and Herbert Murray and a niece, Marcia Murray.
