Donna affectionately known as Marlene or Mal attended school in Caroline County and graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1983. During her school years she participated in track and field, volleyball, glee club and band where she played the drums. She began her career in 1993 at Coldwater Seafood Corp. in Cambridge, MD, where she dedicated 14 years of service. After that she went on to be an Assistant Manager for Goose Creek/Subway in Hurlock, MD until her health forced her into an early retirement. She spent her last years caring for her grandchildren who she greatly loved and adored.
Mal accepted the Lord and was baptized on March 26, 2017, at Easton Church of Christ. She took fellowship at Cambridge Church of Christ. She was an active member attending many events including Ladies Day. In the wake of her illness she remained faithful to worship and bible studies.
