Donald Lee Brown

Donald Lee Brown, son of the late Alice V. and Marcellus (Bud) Brown, was born in Easton, MD on November 2, 1947.  He departed this life on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Garden Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Donald was educated in the Caroline and Talbot County Public Schools.

Donald was a very hardworking man, employed at Pinky’s for 15 years as a steel cutter, Bucks Supply Company for 10 years as a truck driver delivering hospital supplies, and Metals USA for 15 years as a metal cutter where he also retired.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving companion of 50 years, Mary Jefferson, five sons; Donald T. Miller (Lisa) of Preston, MD, Ronald L. Prattis of Cambridge, MD, Rahoul A. Brown (Michelle) of Cambridge, MD, Bernard and Matthew Jefferson of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, James Brown (Ruth) of Vineland, NJ, six sisters; Bernice Watson (Linzy) of Philadelphia, PA, Maryneal Smallwood of Cambridge, MD, Flossie Jenkins and Arnita Adams of Cordova, MD, Gloria Nichols (Donald) of Preston, MD and Blenda Abner of Hurlock, MD, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his eldest sister, Pauline Carroll, four brother-in-laws; John Albert Smallwood, Simon Carroll, William Adams, Raymond Jenkins and one daughter-in-law, LaWanda Prattis.
